You can reheat meat in the oven, air fryer, on the stove or in the microwave. Adding a small amount of oil or liquid during the reheating process can prevent meat from drying out. For best results heat meat from room temperature — so leave it out of the fridge for about 10 minutes before reheating.
Oven: Set your oven to 250°F (120°C).
Place the steak on a wire rack inside a baking tray. This allows the meat to cook thoroughly on both sides. Once the oven is preheated, put the steak inside and cook for around 20–30 minutes, checking regularly. Depending on the thickness of the steak, cooking times will vary. The steak will be ready once warm (100–110°F or 37–43°C) — but not piping hot — at the center.
Air Fryer: Let the meat sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes before reheating in the air fryer. Preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes at 400°F/204°C. Place the meat inside the air fryer basket and cook for 3 minutes at 370°F/187°C.
Stove Top: Alternatively, sear each side of the steak in a pan with butter or oil for a crispy texture.
